We definitely think magnetic cubes are the way forward as they just make your moves smoother and accurate. As there’s currently a lot of choice, we’ve whittled these down to a handful we’d recommend for your consideration.
Obviously we recommend our own Refraktor Cube which we have available at conventions, but if you’re in the UK drop us a message and we can sort you out.

I’m using two of these: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001642902183.html
Removed the batteries to eliminate the beep as I don’t use the Bluetooth functions.
Also opened them up and put a drop of gorilla glue on each magnet so they stop sliding and clicking on each turn of the cube.
It’s silent, it corners phenomenally smooth and it runs around $18-$19 currently. My favorite option to date.
